If the estate settlement is delayed due to probate, we recommend that families pay the funeral account by the due date and then recover the funds from the estate once it’s finalised. Our invoice will be sent directly to the family, and if needed, we can also provide a copy to the solicitor handling the estate.
Please note the person making the funeral arrangements with Howick Funeral Home will be asked to sign an authority for cremation or burial and financial agreement. They will ultimately be responsible for settling the account
