At Howick Funeral Home, we understand that every family has unique needs and preferences. To accommodate these, we offer a range of funeral options designed to provide flexibility and support during this difficult time. You are very welcome to contact us for an estimate of costs.

When someone passes away, bank accounts held solely in their name are typically frozen and may not be accessible until probate is granted. To avoid complications, it's a good idea to set up joint bank accounts ahead of time, where possible.

If the estate settlement is delayed due to probate, we recommend that families pay the funeral account by the due date and then recover the funds from the estate once it’s finalised. Our invoice will be sent directly to the family, and if needed, we can also provide a copy to the solicitor handling the estate.

Please note the person making the funeral arrangements with Howick Funeral Home will be asked to sign an authority for cremation or burial and financial agreement. They will ultimately be responsible for settling the account
